This is a short post of gratitude for all of those, known and unknown, named and unnamed, who supported the last few weeks of my relocation and landing, and further who supported the last six or so months of this wild wild ride through the sub-zero winterlands. I promise I brought back some new wisdoms from the van… I totally didn’t waste all that suffering just drinking whiskey and staying warm with matches. (Ha, “waste” and “whiskey” only belong in the same sentence together if there’s a spill without a prayer.)
Thank you, strangers. Thank you, friends. Thank you, family. Thank you, allies. Thank you, kinspeople. Thank you, land spirits and animal kin, thank you charitable fae and stalwart giants, thank you dragons and earthen creatures. Thank you to those who dwell in fire, and to those who dwell in — and as — ice. Thank you, most of all, gods and goddesses and divine powers otherwise configured: I dedicate these breaths, shallowed as they are from labor, in gratitude. Stay tuned for more.
